3 Days in Bangkok
The Imperial Palace
cannot be missed in your cultural itinerary and should take a full
day to visit it. For the rest is certainly worth to visit the city,
wonder around and get a feeling of the life in Bangkok, although it
will be very tiring.
3 Days in Ayutthaya
Two hours away
from Bangkok, Ayutthaya is certainly worth a visit. The many
archaeological sites are in the centre of the city are very
interesting and to be visited properly would need three days.
2 Days in Sukhotai
It is halfway
between Ayutthaya and Chiang Mai and has a wonderful archaeological
park definitely worth a visit.
It is one of the most amazing places of the world!
3 Days in Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai
possesses some of the most beautiful pagoda-style temples in
Thailand. Allow 2 days for visit the temples and the town and one day
to visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep
4 Days in Chiang Rai
Further North,
Chiang Rai is surroneded by wonderful mountains. Visit the temples and
allow enough time to visit one of the many mountain villages of the
Long Neck People.
Visit the wonderful city of Phetchaburi. Although less famous than
many other destinations in Thailand it is particularly interesting
for the shape and the position of its temples overlooking the city.
It is definitely worth to spend a day on an excursion to Tham Khao
Luang Cave
1 Day back to Bangkok.
If you have time
visit the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles near the Grand Palace
