Argentina is a wonderful country. But it is also very big and very difficult to travel particularly when you are there only for a relatively short period.
I received many emails from the visitors of my website about my travel in Argentina and Patagonia, asking me how I planned my travel there and how I managed to see most of the “highlights” in only 15 days.
I try to summarize an itinerary for you in 500 words, whatever for details you can read more on my website.

Day 1 – Arrive in Buenos Aires in the morning and check in in a B&B you booked well an advance in Buenos Aires, possibly in the area of Plaza de Mayo. Visit the area of San Telmo and Puerto Madero.
Day 2 – Visit Plaza de Mayo, the Casa Rosada, the Cathedral and the famous shopping area of Avenida Florida
Check in in one of the many hostels in El Calafate and ask the hostel to book for you: a seat on a bus to Perito Moreno Glacier for the afternoon, a guided tour to the Estancia Cristina and the Viedma Glacier for the following day and a seat on an evening bus to El Chalten for Day 5.
Day 4 - Visit the Estancia Cristina and the Viedma Glacier
Day 5 – Visit El Calafate and the wonderful Lago Argentino and take the bus in the evening to El Chalten
Day 6 – Walk the path “Laguna Torre” from El Chalten to the Fitz Roy Mountain
Day 7 – Walk the path “Laguna de Los Tres” from El Chalten to the Fitz Roy Mountain
Check in in one of the many hostels in Ushuaia and ask the
hostel to book for you: a guided tour to the Isla Martillo to
see the Magellan Penguins for the following day.

Day 9 – Visit the Magellan Penguins, it is a great experience to walk next to them!
Day 10 – Visit Ushuaia and in the evening go at the harbour and take one of the many boat tours to admire the cormorants and the sea lions and hopefully a fantastic sunset!
Day 11 – Visit the National Park Tierra del Fuego and walk the Coastal Path till Lapataia Bay “The End of the World”.
Day 12 – Take the plane back to Buenos Aires in the morning. Check in a B&B in the area of Palermo. Visit the Museum de Bellas Artes in Buenos Aires and the beautiful park Tres de Febrero.
Day 13 – Visit the Cemetery of La Recoleta, walk around Palermo and have a nice dinner there.
Day 14 – Visit the famous quarter of La Boca and go for a Tango night.
Day 15 – Take your flight back home...
